FINAL FOUR FRIDAY!!! We have TWO Local Squads representing in the Final Four Matchups tonight @9pm

For the 4A squad we have the Union Titans (#3) set to take on Curtis (#2) a school that they played 2/17 and suffered a heartbreaking 3pt defeat. They face off tonight with the winner heading to the State Final and playing the winner of Olympia (#11) vs. Mount Si (#1).

In 2A we have RA Long Lumberjacks (#3) who will take on Lynden (#2) as both teams have been rolling this year and through the tournament. Whoever comes out on top will play the winner of Pullman (#4) vs. North Kitsap (#1).

Union vs. Curtis

Union comes off a victory over Kamiakin last night, the Union squad held Kamiakin to only 4 points in the 4th quarter and secured their spot in the Final Four. Yanni Fassilis who has been a force to be reckoned with score 21 points on the night while the speedy Bryson Metz put up 16 points. As for Curtis they grabbed a victory over Gonzaga Prep with Sophomore sensation Zoom Diallo leading the way with 24points and Tyce Paulsen adding 15 points.

Will the game be decided by which duo outplays the other or which supporting cast members step up to push their team to victory and spot in the Finals, only time will tell. But if the first matchup between the two is any indicator, then we should be in for an exciting and close match as they two teams are loaded with talented athletes.

RA Long vs. Lynden

RA Long comes off a victory over Tumwater, it would be the second time that the Lumberjacks have bested the Thunderbirds. With this match securing RA Long a spot in the Final Four, they were led by Cavin Holden the 2x Player of the Year with 19 points. He was supported by Aaron Ofstun & Stephen Rooklidge scoring 12 points apiece along with Jamond Harris & Jaxon Cook scoring 9 points each. On the other hand, Lynden was able to secure their spot with a victory over Sehome. They were led by Anthony Canales scoring 29 points with solid contributions made by Coston Parcher (12pts) & Dawson Adams (11pts).

We head into the matchup tonight with Cavin & Anthony leading their squads as they have all season with both teams only facing defeat twice this year. The supporting cast on each side contributes tremendously who will be able to do more. Who will move on to the Finals? Only time will tell but the pieces at play will make for an entertaining matchup tonight!
